About the official page
The introduction on the official page still says that as of April 1, 2026 the rate is $17.00 per hour. That sentence has not been updated since the October 1, 2026 change. We follow the Minimum Wage Order table on the same page, which lists $17.30 from October 1, 2026 and $17.60 from April 1, 2027 (earlier rows: $17.00 from April 1, 2026, $16.50 from October 1, 2025).

Official sources
Cross-check: the Government of Canada’s table of general minimum wage rates lists $17.30 from October 1, 2026, then $17.60 from April 1, 2027. It is a federal page, not Prince Edward Island’s own, so we keep the page above as the main source. minwage-salairemin.service.canada.ca official
